Summer Street Church exists to help people on Nantucket find home in a family devoted to following Jesus. We mean this in a spiritual sense but it is also true in a physical sense. Given the instability and rising cost of housing on the island we are building today with an eye on the future. In order to ensure a long-term pastoral presence at church and on Nantucket, we are building staff housing behind our existing office and ministry space on Trotters Lane. Trotters Cottage, as we’re affectionately calling it, will provide secure housing for our associate pastor’s family today and others who will follow in the future. As we give throughout the campaign, the leaves on the tree will turn from gray to green to indicate the progress we’re making.
PURPOSE
Raise $200,000 to complete Trotters Cottage, securing long-term housing for church leadership and opening up the Ministry Center for expanded ministry and discipleship. Our goal is to raise the full $200,000 through donations and pledges by August 31, 2025. Pledges may be fulfilled through December 31, 2025.
